The Lions probably aren't feeling so thankful as they head into their Thanksgiving Day game against Miami without running back Kevin Jones and defensive tackle Shaun Rogers. The Dolphins have issues of their own as they try to overcome a banged-up secondary. In other Thursday action, the Cowboys and Bucs have an assortment of minor injuries to deal with while the Broncos and Chiefs could be without a handful of starters for their showdown. Let's go to the injury report and find out who's in, who's out and who might be getting signed! QUARTERBACKDonovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles has been placed on the season-ending injured reserve list with a torn ACL in his right knee. McNabb hopes to be healthy for the start of next season, but his rehab could extend into the early portion of the 2007 campaign. Jeff Garcia will be under center for Sunday's game against Indianapolis but a final decision hasn't been made on whether they'll stick with him or eventually play A.J. Feeley. Meanwhile, the team announced the signing of rookie Omar Jacobs to the practice squad as insurance. Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers expects to return to practice this week... | |
| | Could the Detroit Lions be the worst team of all time? | | With only the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers left to play this season, if they fail to win a game could this Lions team be the worst of all time? This team has been a total disappointment to their fans, and have gotten so bad that they may even lose they're yearly Thanksgiving Day game. Personally, I don't know any Lions fans, and I am sure there are alot of them that wouldn't want too admit it right now, but for those of them out there it sure has been a rough season. The worst team of all time is probably the expansion Tampa Bay Bucs, who also went winless, and will likely remain the worst even if the Lions lose out, but this team should be nowhere near 0-14! Looking at this team in the pre-season you would have thought they at least could have made things interesting this year in a division that is one of the worst in football. Instead, they have become the joke of the league!Granted, QB Jon Kitna got hurt early on, but even that should not have made them as pathetic as they have turned out. The offensive line was supposed to be better, and tackle Jeff Backus is supposed to be one of the best offensive lineman in the league. Unfortunately they have been inconsistent... | |

| Jon Kitna and Roy Williams Reunited in Big D | | The Cowboys have upgraded their back up QB position, by signing Jon Kitna. Brad Johnson proved last year, that his best football was behind him. When healthy Kitna has a good arm and is a good leader. Maybe Romo can learn some things from Jon.In a perfect world you will hear Romo to Williams and Kitna will be on the sideline doing clipboard duty. Contrary to most of the free agents the Cowboys bring in, I think Kitna is a good veteran player who will add and no distract from the team. | |
| | Will the Detroit Lions EVER win a game this season? | | They fired the GM and got rid of a few players, brought in QB Donte Culpper to help us win a game....and yet they are STILL winless. Same old Lions and the coach...huh...what a JOKE! All he can say in interviews is "I'm going to come to work tomorrow and we are going to work on it. We are not going to change a thing." WHAT? Not change anything? You're team is now 0-10 in a 16 game season and you aren't going to change the way you do things? The owners of this team are sorry excuses. They don't know how to run a football team for their life. Ford Sr. didn't even fire Millen until his son said if it was up to him he would fire him. Mr Ford, PLEASE sell the team to an owner who knows a thing or two about football and will do what it takes to bring the right GM, coaches and PLAYERS here. Without all of these things, Detroit Lions have NO chance of EVER winning a Championship. I am sick to death of watching them lose. I am sick to death of all the excuses the coach and players have after every game. Thank GOD Detroit has hockey and basketball to fall back on!! | |

| Hello to all Detroit Lions fans | | I was born and raised in Detroit and grew up watching the Detroit Lions. We moved to the upper peninsula 28 years ago; and, I can't believe how many people here choose the Packers over the Lions. I always ask them why they don't follow their own state's team. Anyway, I am so happy to see some Lions fans on MyLot. Write and introduce yourselves. My name is Frances. | |
| | Suddenly the Detroit Lions, Look Like the Lions | | After a promising start of the season the Lions look like the Lions of old. The offense is struggling, and after spending four 1st round draft picks on wide receivers, it may be time to get rid of Matt Millen. | |
|
| detroit lions | | why on earth did the lions draft another stupid wide-out. boy are they stupid. it's time to get rid of millen | |
| |
| Why do the Detroit Lions suck so bad? | | The lions have quality talent in roy williams, mike furrey, and mike williams ( still waiting for him to decide to actually play). They have kevin jones at running back and pro bowl caliber players such as shaun rogers and boss bailey. They got one of the best special teams in the league with jason hanson and eddie drummond. the best offensive coordinator in football with mike martz. The only down point is their offensive line. Their record doesn't show their talent. when will it | |
| | football fans...superbowl is over...and you have next year to look forward to.. | | I thought I would bring this up for the football fans out there...Everyone has there own favorite team, and it may be your hometown or it may be a certain player, or for one reason or another you will like one team over the other... anyone following the NFL knows how well the Detroit Lions did this year,[em]blush[/em], what do you think they should do to improve there team?? and what is your favorite team and why? | |
